Note that he says from 4 to 20 channels there should be 40 but not all are available at this time .You are right to have doubts about "improved" services Peter but The Freesat might be your answer

The plan as I have heard it is to boost the Digital signal when the anologue is switched off

London is to get an earlier change over than first thought
because the French are going to power their system up quite soon.
Their "higher Power" digital signal would swamp our poor little English

I used to watch French Tv when I lived in Rye in the 1960's
often better reception than UK TV

Its persisting down again today.
I got drowned yesterday, set off in sunshine with a jacket that was warm enough but not waterproof by the time I had finished my chores in town I looked like the origninal drowned Rat .

I dont know if its the Rain or what But I have a Rustic Hanging basket
device in the front garden, we can see it when we sit in the front room
In the past few weeks black birds and robins have dropped by to sit and sing so I thought I would do the right thing and gave them some food
A seed feeeder and some of those fat balls

Nada nothing Zilch not seen a bird since..................
