Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Evening all

I envy you the water Den. The nearest thing for me now is the Lea Valley area with its marshes and water birds.

Lived on the Wirral when I was up nearer your neck of the woods but not on the water's edge. It was never very far though and a choice of the sands and no sea going up towards Southport or the beaches and swimming in North Wales.

At the moment it's the sound of water running down the side of the street and beating on my window.

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Well it can't be a power cut that has made it go all dark - you are still posting! biggrin

We have some very nice beaches down here, but it is hardly the time of year to go for a paddle in the sea. hypnotized

It's the weekend, 10 days to go cool

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Evening all

Been quiet in here today so I suppose everyone has gone out Christmas shopping or just lazing about.

Mrs Blanco's birthday tomorrow so it's going to cost an arm and a leg as I take her to lunch in town with daughter No 1 and partner to make up a celebration party. I, of course, only eat the food and drink the wine out of duty!
