Re: This is a test. A test thread.

The only way (I suspect you are also a firefox fan) is to colour the text

Thanks for the tip.

In Enhanced Mode... color tags first with size tags imbedded.
So this should be Size 1 in Deep Pink.

In Enhanced Mode... without size tags.

Has anyone found a work-around for making the text smaller?

HOW SMALL DO YOU WANT IT?
HOW BIG DO YOU WANT IT?
HOW SMALL OR INVISIBLE? IS THIS ONE?

obviously the included formatting simply doesn't work.
even html formatting font doesn't work.... hmmm
<Font face="verdana" size="6" color="000F3F">You must have exact font name/color? !</font>
Re: This is a test. A test thread.

Interesting... The code tags make the font height a tad shorter, but the spacing is the same as the colored bigger font.

Re: This is a test. A test thread.

Also multiple spaces in regular text will contract to a single space, where in the code spaces are retained.... good for formatting and pasting tables.

     5 spaces

Re: This is a test. A test thread.

You could always post it as a PNG

Making sure you colour the back ground EEEEEE when it's going to be a grey post and FFFFFF when it's going to be a white one wink

Then you could format it any way you like wink

Sorry debsgr8 I'm being flippant - it needs fixing and has needed to be fixed since the 22nd January 2005. But the techs are always busy with the next project. It's kind of do you want something to crunch or great fonts for your forum?

They have the trump card

btw I'm married to a gr8 Debs
