Re: This is a test. A test thread.

It looks as if it is possible to nest a quote in a quote
Is there a trick that the regular posters use to let you know who you are quoting? Entering [Quote="MemberName"] doesn't work, cause I already tried that.
Am I right?
You can if you want.

or
add
other
quotes
manually

devilish Re: This is a test. A test thread.

Hi Vester it's called being Nelsocked as Nelsoc one of the IBM Admin holds strict rules on the profane. It's supposed to keep the forum in a fit state that Teachers can use the site when introducing the idea of Grid Computing to school kids.

It's in the forum rules and I suspect No2 stepped over the line.

They really do have a list of words you can't use (I've seen it and you wouldn't believe the language blushing) and yours truely crossed this boundry with the word Hell in the context of Mad as (Just watch it turn into Heck biggrin)

It's best just to take it on the chin have a chuckle about it and then find out what is acceptable. It's a level playing field you are not being singled out.

Many a foul mouthed tirade is the result of being Nelsocked for the first time but if you would like to loosen the language allowed on the Forum I suggest you are onto a loser. Nelsoc is very efficient

Dave
devilish
I have done it unwittingly in the Grorg, where anything cut out is replaced by the word [censored] automatically.
You can imagine the originals of "Alfred Hitch[censored] wore a [censored]ade at a [censored]tail party in Hollywood."

Re: This is a test. A test thread.

I have only seen a couple of differences on text sizes. Changing the color makes it a bit larger. That's about it....not 26 different sizes as at grid.org. This is MVNforum, not PHPbb. Y'all have to get it through your brains --- no more grid.org

I have got it. To quote with attribution, all that is nececessary is to select and save the name of the member to be quoted, click on the "reply with quote" button, click on "Preview", go to the php version of the reply (just below the review) and click just after [qu0te] then hit <ctrl><V>, then click after[/qu0te]where you place your reply.
