Re: The Formula One Thread

It's back biggrin

and on the best track of the Season

Button takes Pole with Kobayashi 2nd and Maldonado 3rd!
Vettel is 11th and Webber is 7th but will get a 5 grid spot penalty after a gearbox change penalty! Alonso is 6th and Massa is 14th both of Ferrari. Hamilton is 8th while saying Button has the 'new' rear wing while he still has the old one. Mercedes's Schumacher is 13th while Rosberg is 18th. here is the full list: http://formula-one.speedtv.com/f1/results/

Vettel will move up one spot for tomorrows race due to Webbers penalty. Kimi is starting 4th but could be the one to watch as he showed good speed except in the middle sector.

Re: The Formula One Thread

Thanks mates for remining me it is a race weekend. I set my DVR. It appears Mark Webber has a challenge in front of him.

Great video bono vox. applause That would make Sir Isaac Newton scratch his head and re-examine his laws of motion. laughing Amazing how they can keep them stuck to the track.

Cheers race fans. cowboy

Re: The Formula One Thread

Once again Physics shows us that two masses (or in this case many) cannot occupy the same space-time. biggrin It was a great day for Mercedes and Renault. Congratulations to Button/McLaren for a fine race and a great week all around. Now on to Monza and another fine track. Will it give Ferrari a home track advantage? Cheers.

Bummer, Dave.

COTA updates:
http://www.circuitoftheamericas.com/media-center
The ‘race’ to complete the track continues. Tickets are selling out. “Temporary Grandstand”? So for $339.38 USD you get two empty paint cans and a length of 2”x 6” plank to sit on??? biggrin For the high-rollers, you can get a 2-day Paddock pass for two persons for a mere $4,673.75 USD. (I wonder if kids are half price? wink ) The high cost of going in circles.
