Re: The BOINC Migration Meter

does this mean they made the switch from UD?

I can't say if they have definitely stopped UD but at least they have started to run Boinc! smile

Now that you have discovered that, Diana, the next thing you have to do is to keep an eye on these stats to see if they are going on returning results. In my team I have seen many new ones in Boinc but too many of them seem to not proceed much further. I don't know if they have a problem with Boinc or if it is only that they need longer than Boinc's deadlines for completing a single unit.

Cheers. Jean.

Re: The BOINC Migration Meter

Just looking at your team it's not yet 100%. Too many distortions atm to be able to give a representative number. Need for BOINC flows to return to 'normal'.

Re: The BOINC Migration Meter

So there were 64,749 devices left on March 21 who have reported 1 or more results in the 3 weeks prior to that with the UD agent. It's going, It's going.... WCG on about 91 percent complete (in points) this weekend.

Anyone left behind that is reading but not writing on these fora that needs clarification? Please do tell, it's easy as the email you received describes it and we don't bite (well we do at times ;>)

Re: The BOINC Migration Meter

Hey, if I believed some BOINC statistics sites we had a day last week where WCG was doing 104% BOINC thus negative points from UD.

laughing

(The figures they run look like noon to noon / not in sync with WCG UTC daily stats.)

I would wager that the remaining 6.9% wait to the last day to pay their income taxes too. biggrin

I, for one, will be pleased to wave goodbye to UD.
