I also notice cruncher B21 on the membership roll at The Survivors. Good to see you B21. I hope you'll come forward and say hello here or at The Survivors' team thread. If you are there for the Trek it's fine. If you are there to become a steady member you can always take time out to go trekking with us Base Campers He's one of the new members of Christians. Please do not recruit members outside of the Team Forum Inviting people to join your trek in their team threads, or individuals you know are survivors to join the team you are currently trekking, to is probably the issue. It doesn't bother me, but then I've a skin like a rhino and so probably not the best person to comment, others are probably more sensitive/prickly about poaching. I feel those people need to get some perspective (or a life). I'd like to see that team get a little boost and perhaps pick up a few new members as I'm sympathetic to the idea behind it. (Part of the reason I've been posting a few comments in the Survivors thread is to keep it near the top of the page so prospective members spot it easily.) |

----------------------------------------if posting twice without waiting for an answer is the pain for Jean Pierre. If Jean Pierre sees it the way you outline, I can see I have committed a capital offense by asking some friends - some of them self declared survivors - to do some guest crunching. I wonder whether I have to go to jail or can get a way with a hefty fine. Or maybe I can expect to be kicked out of WCG altogether. I don't produce much except for verbosity anyway. In the UD days we had such a thing called PM - Private/Personal Messaging. This service is not available here, so either you post for all to see, or you don't. If I would begin to cleave hairs, asking friends to come over is not actually recruiting. I ask people to do some guest crunching which means staying with the host team for any period of time and then go back to one's home team. But I find the issue too silly to discuss, really. Let's try to get some more flexible crunchers to join *The Survivors* instead: Please give a team with a cause and a resident vulture your support! Click the link in my signature, please! So what am I doing now? Recruiting for The Survivors or for Base Camp  EDIT (better than posting twice in a row): I also post in The Survivors' team thread to keep it floating.
