 Hello Troy, and thank you for your support- exactly how I see it - no, we don't try to steal members - and members cannot be stolen, can they? - look at it as consumer guidance or attention boosters or general info - coffee or tea as you please - sugar, sweeteners, milk, cream and lemon is back at our Base Camp camp ground at *The Survivors* - please join us there, all you crunchers - it will make you feel good - as if we have a common cause in addition to crunching - just click the link in my signature, and half the job is done  |

I can understand the reason for it - to prevent open warfare breaking out in the forums as teams go out pro-actively into other team threads to attempt to persuade people to join their team instead and then others retaliate for having "their" members "stolen". It could all get very unpleasant very quickly if a lid isn't kept on it. Some people take the crunching and points waayyy too seriously for their own (or anyone else's) good.
That said, it isn't a black and white issue, there are lots of shades of grey in between. That was probably why JP's comment was quite mild as you were clearly acting in a pretty selfless manner to recruit support for a team other than your main one. |

Yes, I have met the other half, widdershins,
and my personal ambition and goal of this Trek #29 is in fact to get the two halves to meet at *The Survivors* I had a fall-out with Marist_College and his supporters - since then Marist_College has done what I ask people to do in my half dead but revivable thread "Where are you from?" - filled in the info about country - and in his/her case a little more. I chose to take this as a hand stretched out and I streched, too. If Marist_College (and maybe Jean Pierre) join *The Survivors* for a couple of WUs, I shall be one happy mermaid ... |
