Hang in there, LM! I think this whole team thing gets taken much too seriously. We're all crunching for the common good. It doesn't matter what team you belong to. One day WCG may fold like UD did. Will it matter what team you belonged to? It didn't once UD was gone. What matters is continuing to contribute in the hopes of helping to find a cure to a disease.

Good Evening Base Campers!
I wonder how we could boost participation in Trek #29. I just contacted alephnull, and he has clicked the button and will hopefully show up on the membership roll tomorrow with his pet computer. But where is pwrguru? It is ages since I saw him. Does anybody know where, what, why? Dan Holtz minds some business, I know, but I let a pigeon fly his way and hope it finds him. 10_13 - chwchan, you know him. What happened? Akela hangs out with The Edwardians, but never speaks. We need you, Akela. Adywebb, you are around somewhere and Cruncher Pete has been seen briefly at a recent trek. Please find your way to *The Survivors*, gentlemen. Dataman I have noticed somewhere, but not at *The Survivors* GTCola2010, you were such an eager beaver, and I notice you now and then. What happened? Lone_Wolf, I know you are busy, and that's a good thing, but this Trek is all you can dream of, and I PMed you so. I'm waiting because you normally reply. oliviathefirst - Livvy - Elaine, you may have forgotten to look in your spam folder. I'll brief you on Facebook, honey. Done! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - oh, when I read the list there are quite a few I miss: Lonnie with his soldiers (hoarded computers), upquark, master of words and sentences from Orkney and vaio, the unruly puppy and many more .... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For the old that went missing, I hope new ones will come .... - I would like very much to see you again if possible, tho. please join Base Camp and discover the wonders of guest crunching I nearly forgot: nap got a Rosie ... congratulations! |

Good Morning Base Campers!
----------------------------------------My appeal yesterday brought no more Base Campers forward to crunch on Trek #29 *The Survivors* But today is a new and wonderful day and hope runs eternal and should do - no doubt more of you will check in there - and - and - and should some cruncher who still have not decided on a team to join decide to join *The Survivors* for good - it would be really good - and that cruncher we should like to bring along on future Treks Confused? Started English conversation class yesterday. My assignment for next week is to make an essay about the first meaning of "Rosie", the second being my Suzuki. It will deal with crunching, friends, teams, can-do-spirit and Rosie the Riveter National Park in Richmond, California and what can be done when we work together with determination, dedication, purpose and love We have music - a little playlist with songs from a little concert last night in a little old village church a little away from my home - everything was little except for the singer Maria Carmen Koppel her voice and the pianist's and saxophone player's musicality. Blues and gospel. Trek #29 playlist Please join *The Survivors* - as a regular team member, as a Base Camper or - best of two worlds Both of the above Confused? As a team member for The survivors I can honestly say that Base Campers are a great group of nomadic crunchers and I sincerely appreciate them. If you can't make up your mind which team to join then the Base Camp is a perfect fit.

Thank you, rcc. That was nicely put.
- Base Camp on its part would find it funny to see crunchers on the membership roll as we roam here, there and everywhere between treks. We would probably ship such couch potatoes direction you or some other worthy team needing a boost. |

Member littlelittle mermaid, ; You are violating several Forum Policy for Members .which , are all written my sig, kindly ask you to stop .. No more posts in this thread for me, many thanks for your understanding XX fiinito xxxxx Perhaps you need to learn a little more about Base Camp..... We are an an affiliated unofficial and generally independent minded group of crunchers. Dedicated to helping teams improve their stats and if possible find a new member or two, - NOT poach members from other teams. We have existed since the bad old UD days, and continue in the same spirit now. Most of us have 'home teams' we return to after a trek, and get together again when the mood strikes - which can be weeks or months in between. I fail to see what forum member rules were broken, and await your kind reply as to which one of LM 's or my post has violated. Best regards, rwillis |
