Je crois qu'on aura tous compris ce que voulait dire ErikaT, même si au Base Camp, on partage un peu plus que cruncher.
Alors, stratégie quand on joue aux fléchettes ! Pourquoi c'est statistiquement plus intéressant, de viser le 19, et pas le 20, si on n'est pas trop sûr de soi ? Quelqu'un a une idée ? C'est que des maths et de la physique. ---------- I think we will all have understood what ErikaT meant, even if at Base Camp, we share a little more than crunch. So, strategy when we play darts! Why is it statistically more interesting, to aim for the 19th, and not the 20th, if you are not too sure of yourself? Any ideas ? It's just maths and physics.   |

Tournée du patron si tu arrives à me battre sur un 501 (le premier qui a 501 points, ni plus ni moins, à gagné). Je viserais le triple 20 jusqu'à 480 points, à la louche (il ya longtemps que je n'ai pas joué). Pourquoi en visant le 19, tu as statistiquement toutes tes chances de gagner ? --------- But where I'm best is when I'm a bartender. Why aim for the 19th if you're not sure of yourself? Boss tour if you get to beat me on a 501 (the first one that has 501 points, no more and no less, won). I would aim for the triple 20 up to 480 points, to the ladle (a long time ago that I did not play). Why aiming for the 19th, do you have statistically all your chances of winning? ErikaT must understand that actions have consequences, although will probably not read this or even guess what she has done. WCG starts a list of projects that I will no longer support. I've crunched BOINC since DA started it, and the old SAH system before that and had never before considered a black list necessary, I will make sure the "people that need to know" will know about it. I have detatched my other 4GHz i7, and will, this one after entering this message as the WCG jobs that were queud here yesterday have all finished and uploaded overnight.
It is a matter of principal. I can be found at most serious BOINC projects, but under my regular screen name, (adrianxw), if anyone needs anything. Goodbye friends. |
