Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Afternoon Base Campers!
Business
Yes, NixChix, we have to try very hard to make une différence notable
- and to that end you and I now have the company of wes - a new Base Camper from Canada
wes, I'm so pleased you came, and yes, we have lots of room around our campfire for you and your tent.
You spent your very first Forum post here! Isn't that something biggrin
You have crunched in silence for 4½ years and earned many fine badges.
How do you do that?
From which part of Canada are you - French or English speaking?

- and we also have the company of sunfolk from New Zealand
- and perhaps some Dust Puppies shock to play with NixChix's puppy and Louloup
- thank you for coming all this way, sunfolk rose

- furthermore I'm happy to welcome stefada who let his camping gene take control again
- he and Louloup (who is an aviator) are playing with NixChix's aeroplane whistling

- and with all his equipment and 12 pounds of powerbanks,
I see acpartsman rigging his circus-size tent with room for it all
- I look forward to see, if the graph pick it up tomorrow. Welcome acpartsman rose

[AF>EDLS]GuL, I would think that this crew
- which I hope will still grow even bigger
can put a mark on the columns in your stats.
[AF>Amis des Lapins] Naz, thank you for your nice words.
We are delighted visiting you and get to know you a bit.
[AF>Libristes] Jean-Yves, you said it so well in your very first forum post:
A trekking trip is like a vacation.

Indeed it is. You get to say hello to fellow crunchers you never met before.
These crunchers may want to tell you a bit about the attractions of their hometowns - maybe show us some pictures tongue
stefada usually prepares Michelin grade food for us,
and NixChix supplies the original and the best avocados from California
and Sam Adams beer from Boston, Massachusetts,
and I provide the shrimp for the avocado holes from the (still) cold waters off Greenland.

We still have room around the campfire, so if you feel like it:
Please join L'Alliance Francophone now.
Our trek lasts until December 23 and you will earn this badge:

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Puppy and I are already at L'Alliance Francophone with supplies for y'all stashed in Escher-1. I pulled out my microscope and noticed a slight bump in the team's returns after I arrived. little mermaid already had the campfire going when I got here and we are eagerly awaiting your arrival and anticipating a bigger bump. This is a big team and we will have to try really hard to make une différence notable.

Cheers coffee

It is a time for a vacation -- yet again!!! biggrin biggrin

Louloup fait ses entraînements pour le ravitaillement en vol ! Si il y arrive, on devrait pouvoir être partout dans les zones francophones.

clic

Louloup does his training for refueling in flight! If he gets there, we should be able to be everywhere in the francophone areas.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Thanks for the warm welcome blushing

From which part of Canada are you - French or English speaking?

I'm from Edmonton, Alberta. Which is on the western side of canada and english speaking. French is really only spoken in Quebec. (at least as the primary language)

I'll try and get all my computers up and running full blast for tomorrow. Time to heat up the house again.
