Do you have the Weather Underground--Plenty of ram? I have 1014.98 MB physical which is all the machine can have and 2.39 GB virtual. The software is Ambient Weather's Virtual Weather station.  $50. Too expensive for me. It'd be nice to have something to monitor the weather though. Anything free?  Well Blizzie, first you need about $500-$1500 in hardware to record the weather before you report it. Ambient Weather is reporting software.Try www.weather.com or www.wunderground.com if you just want your local weather. Oh boy is WUnderground's website messy. There's stuff everywhere.  |

Try Weather Channel Downloads - they have a free version that provides weather, alerts, and good bit more there. There's also a $30/yr version that tosses the ads but the free version is fine for me. It doesn't work. o.o I double click the .exe. It opens, and closes.  May be a firewall thing. If not, go to weather.com and click thru from there. That makes a difference with some sites occasionally. |

Hey Keith, what are the URLs for the 400K points banner and the 3,400 results banner?
$50. Too expensive for me. It'd be nice to have something to monitor the weather though. Anything free? Try Weather Channel Downloads - they have a free version that provides weather, alerts, and good bit more there. There's also a $30/yr version that tosses the ads but the free version is fine for me. If you find a zip code close to you its much better--someone has a weather site about a mile from me and i get minute by minute information--i guess anyone that wants to do a web page with the weather can At the top of the page go the fast forecast and put in your closest zip and see what you getOh boy is WUnderground's website messy. I check the weather with the Mark I - cranium detector. I stick my head out the window....... if it gets wet - it's raining, if it sweats - It's not, if it gets cold - it's cold, if it's white - it's either dandruff or it's snowing or my kids have been around......... Are we going to set up tiny urls results and points banners? Oh yes. That was one of the things that hurt the most about losing the previous website - we lost all the TinyURLs. Every statbox, banner or smiley had one. |
