Evening all

Didn't get round to posting yesterday but my trip to Bognor Regis and the meeting of the Cousins went very well and we managed to catch the last day of 'summer' when it was warm enough to be out in the pub garden.
The three of us with birthdays to celebrate admitted that we'd never had this many cards for as long as we could remember.
And, just down the road they were also celebrating another Michaelmas man, Horatio Nelson.
Welcome back John, I was hoping you'd stay away long enough for me to catch up but I couldn't quite make it!

Hi all, I'm back. smile

And of course, immediately greeted with a whole day of rain here in the Netherlands. sad

I had a pleasant stay in Portugal.
Lisbon turned out nice, I expected a little bit more of a big city but nevertheless quite nice.
The conditions for the half marathon were tough, hot sun and a not inspiring track made it difficult, 14 km of the Vasco da Gama bridge was way too much. hypnotized

Also those annoying stones at the finish were hurting like hell. crying

But I managed to finish the run in 1h50, a result which I'm quite happy with. cowboy

I enjoy running but I'm definitely not running all the time Ted, more like all or nothing. biggrin

Also a big welcome from me to the new members. applause
