the ginger beer plant that we had produced some quantity of "ginger Beer" thought to be non alcoholic later it proved to be "spicy" potent stuff   yeast ginger sugar warm water feed as below we never had any bottles explode but that can happen spoon full of dry ginger spoonful of sugar each day into the bottle containing the plant every ten days you had a new supply divide the sludge dillute the liquid drink after a week and orf you go again Great stuff not quite a great Merlot but................ Maybe no Merlot, but a lot of Merle - good for Dennis the Menace - and Gnasher! |

Evening all
It took a while for the sun to break through the mist but by this afternoon it was very warm. It's probably the last of the mini heat wave as I think cold weather is back on its way. Rabbit casserole for dinner this evening and I can smell it as I type. |

Good Morning one and all, young and old.
Heavy Frost, but sun is shining, no fog today, but still very cold, birds are queueing up at the bird feeders, and their bath is frozen solid, so I have to brave the elements and look after them. |
