Well so far today, we have had snow, sleet, driving rain, and now drizzle! Added to which it is jolly cold! Am waiting to be picked up by daughter and taken to have a decent family lunch! Just can't wait to be given the OK to drive again - feels like being a prisoner and I am not good at asking friends to take me everywhere I need to go (not that they are not all very willing!) - been independent for too long me

Evening all
Hope you had a good lunch Merle. You describe my weather exactly so I've only just been out in the garden to get the bird feed replenished and get the rubbish out of the kitchen. Now looking forward to roast duck for dinner. |

Evening all. Got caught in a snow storm it seemed this afternoon.
Very winterish all of a sudden over here. I've added an old p2, just for the fun of it and to see how it would crunch. It does actually, but veeeery slowly.  But more important, I created for the first time a little network for future addings. |

Evening all
Just rain rather than snow here but still a pretty miserable day. Some sunshine promised for tomorrow so am keeping my fingers crossed. Still Darling's giving me a £60 bonus in January so I should look a little more cheerful. |

Got the promised sunshine today so managed to get a load of woollens washed and outside to dry. With this cold spell we were running a bit short. |

I quite like having a male Physiotherapist 'cos it gives me a chance to use my 'womanly wiles'
 - managed to persuade him today that I was perfectly fit enough to drive now (2 weeks earlier than last time) so was able to go the cash point this afternoon. Who knows where I might go tomorrow? It is like being released from prison - not that I would know what that feels like, of course!  |
