Evening all
A chilly day but no rain and the realization that Christmas is not far away when I get the Adventskranz ready to light the first candle tomorrow. I feel for you Merle and I certainly didn't mean to belittle the courage you have shown to go through all this twice. I know, however, what it means to you to be mobile again and have some independence and I am certainly hoping to raise a glass in person at the next picnic. |

I feel for you Merle and I certainly didn't mean to belittle the courage you have shown to go through all this twice. Oops - I didn't take it like that honestly Ivan  Just my terrible impatience with not being able to dash around like I used to and it has changed my self-image somewhat. I have learned a lot about myself this past year, and there is quite a lot I don't like much!!  Still, roll on 2009 - we'll see what that brings! My vote would be some sort of "get-together" of the Mighty Edwardians!  We've done it before so why not again, eh Kapitan?  |

Good morning to you all yet again the "youngsters" are sleeping in!
 Why not indeed, Merle, Lets get some good weather under our belts first though, Maybe June / July time, gives us all time to get fit! What say the rest of you? |

Being possibly the youngest recruit here and having yet to meet any of my 'more senior' mentor's, 'apart from 'OLD' Ted that is, that would be a wonderful Idea, please include me in your invitation, I promise to behave and not chat up the girls  'can't vouch for Ted tho' Old Sage |

A pretty miserable day here too so, apart from a quick dash to get the paper this morning, I've kept myself inside and in the warm.
I'm now supping a glass of cheap fizz and looking forward to roast Pheasant for dinner. |

I don't plan that far ahead I was sad to see Christine get the boot tonight, she seem to be getting so much from the dancing. and I noticed I have gone gold coloured. |

Morning everyone.
Just stuck my head outdoors, and it's jolly cold, and snowing, so didn't venture further. Decided to hibernate.. see you all in the spring (as the man said when the bed collapsed!) |

Yes, it looks as if it's going to stay cold for a day or two at least. I see sleet is forecast here for tomorrow and I have to take 'er indoors' outdoors for her birthday lunch. |
