Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Out of the bosom of the air,
Out of the cloudfolds of her garment shaken,
Over the woodlands, brown and bare
Over the harvest-fields forsaken,
Silent, and soft, and slow
Descends the snow.

H.W Longfellow

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Evening all

I think you were wise Merle. There's been a very coolish breeze all day and I was well pleased that my outings were brief and could be done at a fair speed a (well for me that is).

Rain forecast for tomorrow so not cold enough for snow it seems. Have you got your langlauf skis out René?

No, no langlaufski's. Too less snow around here. biggrin
Snow is gone now but it stays cold and this morning it was slippery.
Evening all.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Good morning everyone.
Went out for a delightful meal last night, youngest son was 30 years old!
I remember a time, long gone by, when I was thirty! biggrin

Over The Hill

It's birthday time again I see;
Another years gone by.
We're older than we used to be;
That's you and I

Getting older is not much fun,
When there's hurting in your back,
And it's agony if you have to run,
And a pleasure to lie in the sack.

Yes getting older is quite a bore,
But to not get old is worse,
So "Happy Birthday" let's shout once more,
And to heck with the ride in the hearse!

We are as old as the women we feel Bruv devilish

Pass on my congratulations to my nephew, I will raise a toast to him with a wee dram wink

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Good morning everyone.
I knew I was getting old when someone said they were 30 and I couldn't remember 30 until I thought about what year I was 30, then I could remember a few things about 30.
...okay, time for a nap.

Have a great day.
