Hey everyone, my first graduate academic article has been published by a small press out in Montana. It's at the following URL for your reading pleasure: http://mtprof.msun.edu/Fall2007/fig.html . Hope you enjoy it. PLEASE EXCUSE THE HORRIFIC FONT CHOICE made by the press - feel free to cut and paste into Word to your heart's content.

Enjoyed the article, Jonathan ... but ... you should have ironed the shirt before the picture. biggrin laughing biggrin You need a publisist. whistling

I thought that was one of those fancy weave shirts that is supposed to look rumpled, folded, spindled and mutilated on purpose. And what folks pay for such. devilish wink You can get the same thing with a cheap plain shirt and some good, hard manual labor! laughing

edit: and for fairness, Dataman could use a spell checker laughing at least you look the academic - though for some reason it (and that hair)reminds me of one of the Marx brothers. It's the thought of all those monitors and screens out there shattering or doing the flash and burn that keeps me from posting my mug (think Cousin It with mail pattern baldness).

Hey Blizzie, congrats on the first year of runtime yesterday. What'd that take? Two and a half months? I think you may hit 3 million points before June. How's box #2?

Thanks. biggrin Pushing forward.

My E6600 is unstable at 3.6 GHz (3.4 GHz is fine).. Going to try and figure out what's wrong; it could be crippled from running it that high for 24/7 crunching. In the meantime, my Quad stays running.
Ordered a Thermaltake HR-05 heatsink for my Northbridge.

Very interesting read Jonathan. Need to think about it some but first impression was - I thought #3 was omnipresence, not all-goodness.

There are many different versions of theism. The one I attack is explicitly "classical" theism -

1. omnipotence
2. omniscience
3. perfection (defined by catholic theologians as perfect goodness)

These three imply omnipresence.

Thanks for reading it though. I'm publishing another paper soon on Christian Humanism and Secular Humanism as a means to traverse the gap between Christians and atheists. This second paper is much more pleasant and less critical than this Problem of Evil paper.
