A day record was set on Sunday of 330,602 WU's validated. Crunching On The Y-axis scaling of the crunching chart had to be stretched-up again as we're looking to hit somewhere 345-350k results validation today... more Pentathlons may be the recipe for other sciences too :P Crunching more --//-- PS, Let's not switch to Ludicrous [Crunching] Speed, else some badge plodders will see their scheme overturned ;) |

Based on last known work-volume, we passed 75% on the validated front [not knowing but suspecting there to be quite a few hundreds of thousands waiting on a wingman]. This is much sooner than we'd expected several months ago, before the optimized CPU version 6.42 launched.

1week on and the chart now suggests a mere 123days left! That's early Sept, and could easily shrink into August as more and more crunchers become aware of the pending end... Please don't let the end date slip into August just yet  ..I calculated that the projected end date of my flat out effort to reach my first ever sapphire badge on HCC is August 14! |

No need to resort to praying, SNURK, it's the Pentathlon that gave HCC a serious jolt. The dashboard shows remaining days sparklines for the applicable projects [of which we have a volume], but now reconstructed back 3 months [took time]. For "now", don't think it will fall below 120 DL too soon (a number given else there's no ''reading'' the sparkline), but doubtlessly this will be the next project finishing [if no more work is added], before the 3rd round of HFCC completes sometime December.
