Hey Dataman! Is it cooling off any out there? Gas is about to drop thru $3.60 here so you ought to be getting close to dropping below $4 now. We should all move to Tulsa, OK - it's under $3.40 there. I see that in the Vancouver area, it's $1.35-1.45 - that's Canadian dollars per LITER so roughly multiply by four for gallons. That's $5.40 to $5.80 Canadian per gallon about, or $5.09 to $5.47 US.

Wow this forum has been dead this week! Especially when compared with last week. I have my German final today, so keep your fingers, toes, etc. crossed for me. I need to pull off an A- or better to maintain my perfect record at HDS. But that looks like a dim possibility. I guess everyone has to lose at some point. Me thinks that's the Olympics for you! Hope German went well, or well enought at least. Don't worry, everyone has their weak spot. Mine was tax law. Of course, the prof. had quite a reputation too. Just getting a B out of the guy was a major accomplishment. He was the one case where getting a C was not seen as failing the class. The fact that he actually flunked people was probably a factor. I did get to see history occur in his class though. There was a divorced mother of two in my class that left him in shock - she did something no one had ever done before in his teaching career (his words) - she got a perfect score on one of his exams. |

It was a savage exam. Forty words more than we were told to expect. And the text was complicated, full of strange extended-adjective constructions. No one finished on time. I'll be happy with a B on the exam. |
