Sigh, senility is such fun. Had forgotten another of the quirks of the forum software here - it sizes the width of the post based on the widest signature displayed on the page but it won't resize a signature. My laptops are widescreens so had forgotten about this until I did a restore down on the browser. If the screen/window isn't wide enough for the signature, you have to scroll left and right to read the posts.

Hmm...still another week to go in the month and less that 60 posts left here before we hit 500 and DM starts kvetching!

Those are some awesome milestones that people hit! I'm jealous.. I want more crunching power...  Dr. Mike When you have the money and are ready to buy, let me know. I just ordered my daughter's Christmas 2.5GHz quad core, 2GB ram, 250GB disk, with extra usb and serial ports and cd/dvd drive for about $1250 plus got a 20 inch Acer display from Tiger for $170.  Got the Acer monitor today. Acer said today. UPS said Monday but delivered today anyway. For the price, SWEET! BUNCH easier on my eyes (old age is such fun! ) but external monitors don't work well with laptops - ever tried lugging one around with the machine? Besides, no battery power. Machine should ship around Labor Day.Bought this today to replace one of the 3 P4's I donated to the local elementary school today. I only have 1 P4 left in the farm (nostalgia). The new one has it's pro's and con's (low end Q6600) but it was cheap. Can you beleive it  I'm down to 10 machines. 7 Q6600's, a 6400 duo, a Pentium D duo and a P4 Duo. 32 cores but much better cores than the 36 I had before.
