Nope.. I disassembled everything and took a look at my motherboard. No damage. I tried some of the RAM from my Quad and it works fine.

On my other 4 1GB sticks. 2 are dead. 1 will boot but errors in memtest. 1 is semi okay....
So all 4 are going back..


I still don't know how all my RAM just died at once. It can't be a power surge since I have a surge protector. And I don't know what caused that loud pop sound.

Buy locally next time and you can get it exchanged a lot faster. I have tried the larger mail order houses in the past and as long as nothing goes wrong, its ok, but when you have a problem it ALLWAYS takes more time that the savings initially were worth.
