Re: Is HCC running out of work?

HCC work is temporarily stopped due to the disk array problem we are having. Please see this known issues posting.

Thank you for your patience.

Re: Is HCC running out of work?

It would be beneficial to edit the title of that thread in the known issues forum. Currently it just says Temporary FAAH Project Slow down. I didn't bother to look in that thread because my problem was HCC units being hard to come by, I don't crunch FA@H so that problem really doesn't matter to me.

Re: Is HCC running out of work?

I've been crunching HCC only (until the problems hit), but I looked in the known issues thread and saw one had been updated recently. Even though it didn't say it was HCC related I looked at it on the off chance the cause of the problems might be related.

I may prefer to crunch HCC, but I'd rather do some crunching for other projects than see my PC sitting twiddling it's thumbs, at present I'm doing HPF2.

Re: Is HCC running out of work?

Yes, thanks to the tech team for all the hard work.
Work should still be available for all of the projects (except DDDT) even thought the disk scan (fsck) is still running. Thanks for your continued patience.

I'm glad to get back to my primary project, after a few alternate work units.

Re: Is HCC running out of work?

I've also started to see a few HCC units showing up in my work stack. Thanks from me also to the IT folks behind the scenes who've put in the effort to keep things running as smoothly as possible over the years..

Re: Is HCC running out of work?

Hello I am new to WCG and I have signed up to HCC and HPF2, but disabled the option to overflow to other projects when work isn't available.

Since signing up, I have completed 3 HPF2, but haven't been assigned any HCC tasks. Am I jumping the gun or is there currently some shortage in WU's?
