Unfortunately this was just a coincidence; left my pcs on while away for a few days, but disconnected the web....
Planning to buy a quad within a month or so to give a more structural boost...

Hi Gerald.

First make sure the new PC has at least one open PCI-E slot and a power supply of 400W or more. Both Jonathan and I have a GeForce 8800GT card. They have come down in price recently. I also have a GeForce 9800GTX card. It runs a bit faster and a bit cooler (?) but is a bit more expensive.

As more GPU projects appear and BOINC refines their GPU client(s), I do think this is the wave of the future. I hope you will consider it.
