Thanks Dave. I am still waiting for each of you guys to send the $100 so I could buy a new quad. As a side note, I said that I was going to stand by the mailbox and wait for everyone's checks. As it turns out, it is a good thing that I was exaggerating since someone backed into it yesterday and scattered rock and mortar all about. luckily I was on the couch watching football. So, you guys wait to mail your checks till Thursday. Here you go RT. $686.00 should cover my part.   |

Good news: Quad looks like it's back. Bad news: Jonathan is on my tail.. Good news 2: Going to get my C2D running again. How are classes going? I have my midterms this week and next week. I have to write a paper concerning the theological approaches to domestic and sexual violence in different religious communities. Let me know if any of you have thoughts on the subject. (I need the additional quad or two if I ever hope to keep up with you.) :-) I am not having problems sending in work units marysduby; Everything apears normal. Actually, if you really want to tear it up, get a graphics card. My Boinc Credits jumped from 2000-3000 per day to between 6000-8000 when I started graphics crunching. Also, those 8800gts are stupid cheap at this point. Even if you burn one out with your crunching, who cares? They're like 80 bucks to replace! |

Good news: Quad looks like it's back. Bad news: Jonathan is on my tail.. Good news 2: Going to get my C2D running again. How are classes going? I have my midterms this week and next week. I have to write a paper concerning the theological approaches to domestic and sexual violence in different religious communities. Let me know if any of you have thoughts on the subject. has anyone been having problems sending in results? No, I've had no recent problems. What version(s) are you running? Are you getting "BOINC can't do internet communication" or are they getting stuck in the transfer process? I occasionally get these in 6.2.18 and now 6.2.19. Good morning MOT.  Such a nice morning here. Still holding Fall at bay.They are stuck in the transfer process--says temp.failed upload--ihave about 25 in there--5.10.45 [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 20, 2008 9:22:41 PM] |

Still holding Fall at bay.They are stuck in the transfer process--says temp.failed upload--ihave about 25 in there--5.10.45 If you haven't tried already, go to the Advanced tab and click on "Do network communication". This should restart all of them. Or you can click on "Transfers" tab and do a "Retry Now" for each of them. You can also reboot the machine and see if that starts them. Otherwise, you will probably have to abort them. Sometimes having work stuck in transfer status will prevent other work from being sent or received. I had two Cosmology wu's yesterday that got stuck inbound.  |
