Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

And that client is running Boinc ver. 6.2.19
If that matters in some way....
But I'm not complaining over the exstra points smile

Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

No, all seems perfectly fine with that extra information added. Why you had 865 credit claim is a riddle to me, since hours CPU time multiplied by the benchmark value gives the claim value.

Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

This time it's me who will ruin the credits of the poor guy/gal who is still crunching the other WU, unless I win the jackpot if s/he is the winner:

E000043_ 334A_ 00054o012_ 0-- Pending Validation 19/12/08 04:39:08 19/12/08 15:54:38 4.13 28.7 / 0.0

Below is the associated error report:

For my punishment I have got two new monsters (from batch '43 and '44) estimated by me at about 75 hours on the P4. Now I have to check that their time limit is appropriate.

Cheers. Jean.

Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

Has anyone seen the new release CEP science app yet that was mentioned yesterday by knreed? With the impending changes I'd not buffer any CEP, so any downloaded always picks up the latest version.

[added: no, new download is still 6.19, but with 12 days deadline on E000044 batch ]

Lucky guy! My '44 is still a 7-day one and a v6.19 too. I hope yours is a lasting sign that the times of the 7-day CEPs are finished, at last.

Cheers. Jean.

Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

I've got my fingers crossed, but it looks like the validator is pickking up the erroneous WUs a bit better.
