![]() We usually try to keep one Team Thread running for each team, unless you have a major event to celebrate In that case you may put your celebrations in a seperate thread which will usually age itself off the Team Forum within a couple of days It would help if you would please post your future Team Messages here http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2327 Thank you in advance for your understanding |

Hi PRNRN91
It is picky! But the Admins make there own team Members tow the same mark. Here is a link to one of the same responses to their teammates. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2285 He posted in the same manner and got the same response. So picky or not we are all held to the same rule. I hope this shows that we all get the same treatment on this rule. |

Hi Billy Bob -
----------------------------------------So picky or not we are all held to the same rule. I hope this shows that we all get the same treatment on this rule. I can't seem to find the rule you refer to, can you show me where it has been promulgated? Please read my comments at https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...thread=1803&offset=51 Thanks and let's keep folding those proteins |

Well as I remember it..
----------------------------------------Once upon a time in the land of crunch.... MyOnlineTeam went ![]() threads in a row in the team forum.. ![]() This quickly drew a response from Canada and Ripcat single handedly defended the honor of all the other teams by posting a Barrage of Team Canada threads to smash Mot down the ladder. I think these two bold actions by Ripcat and the {MOT Admins Gang} all this drew in Lawrence who was the first (I think) to suggest 1 active thread might be a bit more ("civilized." ("My Word")) This was followed by a good natured apology to all from MOT's Team Capt. David A. ![]() One previous case was when I posted a hello to a new MOT team member and by my ![]() It got pulled by the Forum ![]() None of MOTs or Ripcats posts got Pulled. Hi Billy Bob - Thanks for your prompt reply.
----------------------------------------So as I read your explanation, this is simply suggestion or a "Gentlemen's Agreement" between the two teams that were having shall we say a "thread war" or playing a game of "King of the Mountain". But at this time, you are not aware of any published WCG Forum rule that is being violated. Thanks again and I would like to ask anyone reading this to please also read my comments at https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...thread=1803&offset=51 Now, let's keep folding those proteins. |

Since I am not a "gentleman" does this make me exempt from all of the above?? On a slightly more serious note, I would love to see a thread of posted rules. I am not usually one to break rules if I know of them. (if this is all about one upmanship, I leave that to the guys that need to play "king of the mountain".) Cybernauts will continue to crunch along!! ![]() |

Hi PRNRN91 -
----------------------------------------hmmm...One other question. Since I am not a "gentleman" does this make me exempt from ... My apologies if you are a Gentlewoman, I hope you took no offense, but I think someone who makes or enforces the rules should answer your "one other question". On a slightly more serious note, I would love to see a thread of posted rules. I am not usually one to break rules if I know of them. (if this is all about one upmanship, I leave that to the guys that need to play "king of the mountain".) I like you and I hope everyone joining the WCG are willing to follow the published rules and are not interested in playing one upmanship (or one upwomanship). I did not feel it was appropriate for me to repeat here on your team's thread what I had already posted on my team's thread, except by reference with the link ... I would like to ask anyone reading this to please also read my comments at https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...thread=1803&offset=51 However, since you ask a specific question I will copy a part of the first sentence which contains a link to the only published WCG Forum Rules that I am aware of. I wonder ... are there some other WCG Forum rules that we should be made aware of beside those posted on Jan 21, 2005 by knreed a World Community Grid Tech at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1537 or are we expected to learn of them the hard way like the team captain at ... Hang in there, you have my support and I am sure the support of the silent majority, even in mortal combat there are written rules of engagement which are promulgated before they are enforced. Let's keep folding those proteins. |
