Yes you seem to have some ecosystems problems in the bay isn´t Yes we have a big problem here ,fertilizer runoff a lot of septic systems seeping into the underground aquifers also a lot of farmland on the bay.It has been a struggle,not to mention the plastics in the water,people dumping raw sewage from boats-- the oysters have been hard hit,but we are slowly turning the tide--Gerald |

Right, I read between others about abt the oysters ( big problem ) , good to realize that as you mention ; things are slowly turning the tide

Yesterday the calendaric Autumn started, today as yesterday we have 26C. Strangely yesterday most of the time we had a smooth cloud bed and thunder without blitz for hours and hours and hours, that ran for nearly 2 days with a little rain to fill the cracks in the soil. Today after the autumnal foggyish start beautiful sunshine though. Looking forward to a continuation all the way for an Indian summer or as we call it here 'Estate di San Martino' past November 11. Winter feeling to be short, though the song birds have left anyhow for further south. We'll see next spring who was right, to take flight ;>)
