It was a sunny and warm day here up north.

Good morning everyone.
Badges? who needs em, it's cures we want, Iv'e been doing this since 2001 and no one has told me if we have been successful or otherwise. Are we getting anywhere near? Are we a long way off? Who knows?
On the good side, it's sunny outside but guess what? Yep rain is due, not just rain, but storms, so stock up the larders, batten down the hatches and wait for summer!

Good warm day at a very crowded Lord's and the play all in England's favour until I had to leave to join the final clear up for the 'Village' London in Bloom competition assessment tomorrow morning when I shall again be at Lord's - perhaps under an umbrella.

Thanks Ted, we had a wonderful break but it's back to reality now work again on Monday nose to the grindstone for the next 5months to prepare for next years Grand Prix along side a large defence order and all the run of the mill stuff!
Got a party to attend too this evening and then my weekend is taken up decorating the parlour
