Re: Drawing a Line onwards and upwards

Evening all

It's been a bit breezy here down in the Smoke but the threatened rain kept away and the grass still doesn't need cutting.

must pop round the corner soon to say 'best wishes' to our retired MP who is very local and has spent his career in local government before being elevated to Parliament. Fortunately, his successor is a locally born and bred young woman so we still have one of our own rather than someone shipped in from the central party machine.

Not a drop here and not much sign of the brown becoming green again.

Re: The green green grass

Good morning - I'm back (with a very empty purse but who cares!!) Fingers crossed that all will be well now with my 'machine'. Feels like you are cut off from the world when your 'puter is sick! But more important, I do all my banking online and I have now forgotten how to do it the 'normal/usual' way. blushing confused

Nice sunny morning here and not much wind. Hope all is well you all. (Sorry to hear about your little 'puddy' cat Den - know what it feels like - very sad.)

....oh dear, she will miss her daily dose of Round Britain Weather..... wink

and the not-so-daily update on belgian weather cool
sunny and after a really really hot 4 weeks we FINALLY have a (emmm what would you call that in english confused ok better go for the long-way-round explanation ) special gauze door to keep the flies out

cool
just in time for the end of summer
can't be far away surely
I don't think belgium can handle more than 3 weeks of acceptable summer weather
devilish

sorry to hear about the cat!
