A Book worth reading "Code Breakers" by E.H. Hinsley and Alan Stripp.
ISBN 0-19-283304-X. The inside story of Bletchley Park.

Amazon have several interesting looking books
also the Bletchley park site shows an interesting load of information
like the whole tour party has to order profiterloes or & red wine sad

over and above the cheese butties & a home made soup that are provided as a norm

Looks like a interesting tour

Might be wrong but believe davemoo

Evening all

Went to a rather wet BBQ at a friend's house which meant that we all sat indoors whilst 'He' went in and out with hot food to go with our indoor salads. It was, of course, good fun and typically English. It wouldn't have been the same if there was bright sunshine.

As long as I get up in time and make the meeting venue with my chauffeur friend, I'll let you know how it goes - in Plain English.
I can no longer remember all the silly 'codes' we had as schoolboys.

I guess before long I will be the only one left, in what has been a long serving and loyal team, we go back almost ten years now!

I was just checking my stats as I have returned to my work where I get to turn it back on, and I'm quite happy that I'm churning out a lot of points / day, and was really chuffed to see I had gone up a position in the team...

Then I thought no, I was way behind the next person - I havn't done that much over the weekend, and I checked and I lost my enthusiasm.

I'm still here! I'm still churning!

WRT bletchley park - i used to volunteer at TNMOC but petrol prices put the cost of travel from Norwich to an insane amount. I miss it so.

Apart from the fact that it drizzled all day and there is quite a lot of walking and information given outside, it was a very successful day and so much to comprehend that my brain is still in a fuzz.
