Evening all
It was kind to us and waited until we got home from the weekly supermarket trip before it started belting down and since then it hasn't stopped. |

Weather about the same as they had for the golf

It was kind to us and waited until we got home from the weekly supermarket trip before it started belting down and since then it hasn't stopped. It hasn't stopped at all today and it is still throwing it down!  What's more, the forecast for tomorrow and Sunday too is more of the same! |

Evening all
It's been raining during the afternoon but this morning was bright sunshine and warm as we gathered for the monthly Village garden clean up and weeding. As news obviously got around that we were good runners up in the All England RHS rating on Thursday, we had a much bigger turn out than usual and the sun shone as a couple of guys made a bucks fizz for us to celebrate. A community in Sheffield were the National ratings victors so that's probably closer to you El Kapitan. Off to somewhere in the smoke tomorrow for the usual birthday lunch given by daughter No 1. The venue is usually a surprise so my only clue is that we meet at Marble Arch. Umbrellas will be essential. |
