The Post code system gives a slightly false impression. In the West, London is divided into West, South West and North West. Here we must have been thought illiterate because we have just East to cover the whole range from the river to the Essex border.
It hardly matters but the chances of seeing a Pearly King here are about the same as when I lived near Liverpool.
