Re:

Morning all smile

I always thought, "Cast not a clout till May be out" referred to the England and Surrey cricketer Peter May from the fifties.
Not some hedgerow plant that we used to call bread & cheese and ate the young leaves of .The May is out round here, but I'm not taking off my Ganzey just yet wink
The May name BTW featured in Cricketing circles way back in the late 1700's when there were two brothers who played played for Kent, Dick & Tom May.

Morning all, Will be away next Wednesday for most of the day, and will give the computer a rest by closing it down for a well earned rest.
I hope you are all in good health?
Take care

Re: Re:

smile Evening all ......

Just found this little gem................ biggrin devilish

"Don't knock the weather: nine-tenths of the people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in a while."
- Kin Hubbard

It's the common right of the English to talk of the weather, politics and other mundane things indeed it is deemed polite to do so;
For whilst they may air their views, they no longer fight each other, 'cept in court that is!, but mostly they agree, or agree to disagree, for that is the way of Gentle Folk, and whether you agree or disagree, Gentle Folk is what they are!, 'cept of course that lot in Parliament!! biggrin devilish

Old Sage wink

Re: Re:

Good Mordning!
Sun is out, rime on grass
(forgot the word "rime"; my dictionary not here; tried Google; entered "rim"=rime in Danish; answer=rhyme, which is correct, but not in this meaning;
what to do? tried "rimfrost" - to direct Google in another direction, and here we go: rime)
