I hope all goes well, please convey our condolences to all......... Good morning .......... I was at the funeral of a friend on Monday, the service was held in a Baptist church, they played his favorite rock music before the Eulogy and again as the service closed, a very touching tribute to a very fine young man. My friend was only 53yrs, A department manager in an engineering company, he was quite a fit man who each year cycled the London to Brighton race for the heart foundation, he died of a heart attack whilst out sailing on a nearby reservior. Evening all
Had the first of the year's pensioners association meeting at the National Liberal club today with a really splendid talk by Leeds Liberal politician and jazz clarinetist, Michael Meadowcroft. It does, however, bring home what a pretty boring life I have lead. Still, the sun is still shining and I shan't have to think about traffic jams over the weekend holiday. |
