Re: Re:

Morning all

Shouldn't that be TEA Alan , seeing as we are in China smile

Whats with the new Red Uniforms for Mac laren team ? as if they haven't enough to do the drivers must have been up all night unpicking and re sewing all those badges on the coveralls. I know red has been a good colour for a certain Italian team And RED bull are their main rivals on track.............. clutching at straws ??

Bad news really for a keen sporting chap like my self this week end.
All my marathon training down the drain. The TV programmers mussed up big time F1 And The Marathon on same day some overlapping I could set up Two TV's in the lounge ????
++++++++++++++++

We could sort out that Huge mass of Marathon / Snickers runners

Plan "a"
Have Qualifying session's just like the F1 with a rule that states that if you fail to get to Q3 you dont run....

Plan "b"
Cut the race down to a sensible length 26 miles for fun "Duh"

Plan"c"
Run it round some stadium such as Wembley everyone could see the runners all the time and it would ease the police task closing roads off in London Except they have some football matches on there this weekend
And while we on about that. as all four teams come from the T'north games could /should have been played int T'north the red and blue Manchester teams match could have played at the Reebok stadium
Stoke and Bolton easily nipped up to Man U's ground every one home for tea.
A huge cost saving all round Transport of all those Genuine Northern PIES saved .
We could keep the coach owners and nonfootie female partners happy by running charabancs to the Trafford centre for retail therapy

There that's sorted the weekend out Have a good un what ever your doing devilish

Re: Re:

Evening all

Was very fortunate with the weather for my first two days at Lord's with some sun and pleasantly warm. Almost no wind makes the difference when you're on the top tier of the pavilion.
Now it's quiet for a couple of weeks apart from F1 early tomorrow.

I decided to give the marathon a miss, as I did last year and the year before and ............
I've known only one friend who did it and, as for me, I hated cross country when at school and concentrated on the sprints which, even at my level, were over pretty quickly.

Re: Re:

Evening all

It's been a quiet day in here so I hope that means that all have been enjoying the summery weather that we've had down here.
