Re: Re:

Evening all

The rain went and now the sun shines but the grass is still too wet to mow.

There's always tomorrow and, as has often been said, I don't know how I ever found time to go to work.

Re: Re:

Good Morning!
Light clouds, blue spots, calm, dewy grass - will probably turn out very nice ...

@Scribe: I asked you about the well-being of your cats (old team and new)
and also suggested that you might revive "The Vowel Game" - didn't you notice?
@old sage: dog and bone are on the phone that sits on the back of a pony
@all that write Edwardian: As we now are wont giving a clickable link for Merle to use to accomodate her
- we could establish that Edwardian was translated into English for the benefit of the second female here

Re: Re:

Good morning to you all,

The term "Edwardian" stems from a time when England belonged to the English and Edward the Seventh was on the throne. The gentry of that time were true gentlemen, unlike the modern replicas.
I was named after my father Edward (Ted for short) and he was named after Edward the Seventh who died shortly before my father was born.
The aristocrats (gentry) of England, who have held their titles for centuries, have nowadays been largely replaced by a lot of or arrogant and egotistical ex politicians' in an attempt to secure their place in history! (Something that most could not do in Parliament).

Perhaps, when creating the team "Edwardians" I was longing for a time long gone by.

Re: Re:

....all Moggies doing fine.....This forum is not a patch on the old one, difficult to navigate and I think there is far too much "noise" so I really do not feel like adding more wink

Re: Re:

Moaning all..............

I wrote a long reply to Teds posting but it disappeared? I can only think that the PC brigade got to it first, I hope that wasn't the case as the freedom of speech was hard fought for in this country!

I don't intend to write it again but to all PC brigade supporters I say to you this 'Wake up and smell the mess you've made'

Have a nice day all..............

Ps. a pony is £25 (squid)
