rose Why won't he?
You could show him the next time you rescue him from the blue/black screen of overheating ...

- but in our day and age it's not necessarily the PDs of this world who have to kneel ...

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

I make some concessions to the mail ego. The hunter instinct is still strong in some males.

Always looking over my shoulder......and moving forwards...maybe backwards is wiser...perhaps just sitting down is the best option

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Thats serious warm stuff no wonder you guys have to shut the machines down reading about taking the side panels off to get more air to the electricky bits

I dont think that works too well as the fitted fans need to be drawing air over the melting components I can see water cooled heat exchanger being an option, a fan alone with high ambient temperatures wont do the cooling I've seen the adverts for retro fitted fans that would lift a DC 10 off the ground
I suppose its a three way play off Heat v Noise v utility Bill
I can remember some chiller units being bought in to cool the large mainframe computers at the powerplant where I worked when the installed cooling wasn't coping. These machines were beasts like you see in the 1950's Sci Fi Movies large cabinets with spinning discs and flashing lights
