Do we need to quarantine you now that you have the flu thingy?

laughing biggrin I have a vid card that seems to have caught the flu last night. I got up and it was 87C. sad It's the one that was damaged in the "electrical event". It just will not take even minor OC'ing. I pointed a big high-volume fan at it and got it down to 78C but I think I will be giving it the last rites soon. sad

Don't worry DM. I'm sending the 8800GT tomorrow. Things have been nuts here. I just got a dream job for the summer and will write in the forum when I have time to let you know what I get to do this summer!

Cool, Jonathan. That will give me a crunchin' card in all 9 machines. I've already found a method to attach the fan.
I fixed the hot one from this morning. Was a little dust bunny in the fan. sad I'm running all cores and all cards right now and had to put 2 big high-volume floor fans in front of them. They must have blown up some cat hair last night. laughing biggrin laughing

What do you mean by, "and had to put 2 big high-volume floor fans in front of them. They must have blown up some cat hair last night?" Do you have floor fans blowing onto your graphics cards directly? Or just directing air towards the intake fans at the front of your cases?
