You have to multiply by 7 to get points. Still, a 2 to 1 margin is impressive considering that the former was accomplished by an order of magnitude fewer people than the latter. But then that presumes GRUGrid and WCG are comparable too. |

 6.6.24 ... no good ... bad.  How come? Crashing? It has serious problems with GPU ... like puting them in "waiting to run" and not releasing them ... ever! 123,295.79 GPUGRID BOINC STATS POINTS TODAY! And I have 3 cards that are not running right now.  WHERE'S MY CARD JONATHAN? ... you welcher.  I upgraded some machines to IE8 (  ). What a waste. More lipstick on the pig.More rain today and that should be the end of it ... 83F by Friday.  |

You have to multiply by 7 to get points. Still, a 2 to 1 margin is impressive considering that the former was accomplished by an order of magnitude fewer people than the latter. But then that presumes GRUGrid and WCG are comparable too. What I love so much about GPUGRID is that last year at this time, none of us were running it. As a team, we were putting out decent results. We had a BS RAC of about 70-80k. Now, when me, DM, Chris Brown, and all the other GPU crunchers started running GPUGRID, we saw our computing power increase exponentially. Now our team's BSRAC is closer to 180k. I'm just glad that all those results (that probably wouldn't have been crunched without GPU crunching) got crunched. |
