I've just downloaded 2 children from batch 2247. Looks like the feeder is empty of all parent batches (apart from repair jobs). I still wonder whether parents 2382 to 2397 are missing, though.

Maybe these processed already out of order weeks earlier, when you were not paying attention to the batch numbers? No one is responding, so guess no one has seen them, consciously.

I've recorded the highest batch number I've downloaded or seen reported each morning since 25 November, when the batch numbers were in the 2100's, so that's unlikely. The first out-of-sequence reports were on 27 January (2373 seen, then quickly on to 2398), soon after the final notice was given. Only 2375 to 2382 have been reported since. However, it's possible that they've slipped through in the past few days when the big acceleration of parent batches occurred, without anyone mentioning them. It's just odd though.

The techs will do an inventory. We've seen a few occasions where during the next experiment or at the end of a research some stuck or missed batches were loaded. Not to worry... the feeder and validator will surely be open for the next 30-50 days before the final pair is validating.

I just downloaded some children off batch 2346-2348.
Are these to run much longer than 6 hours? because estimated time on my i7 is about 20 hours. on my core 2 quad it says 50 hours. Or could that be because off the beta's i have processed. |

Same here, it's because of the beta jobs. Time estimates should become normal after a few new loads of regular tasks.

the longer times is probably set up to prevent people from grabbing 10 days of work units and having those over run the times....

@rewood1000
I've got two parents 2382 and a couple of 2383s Aha, well spotted! Just to clarify, did you download them soon before your post at 2 Feb 04:10 UTC, or some time much earlier? If it's the former, then that could be the start of the missing 16 parent batches (2382 to 2397). |
