Lawrence -- I usually have had a second antibiotic along with vancomycin as well. Three years ago, I was on it for six or eight weeks to no avail. My case of MRSA was osteomyelitis in one of the metatarsals leading to my little toe. Eventually, I paid the price and had the below knee amputation. I hope all goes better for you. For those of you with a strong stomach, ***WARNING*** VERY GRAPHIC *** here ***WARNING*** VERY GRAPHIC *** is a picture of the infection in my foot taken the week before it was amputated.

Looks like WCG has stats problems tonight. Individual numbers have updated but not team numbers. Depending on when they get that fixed, I'll get our numbers for today posted.

Dave. I am very sorry to hear about the problems. I have lots of aches and pains but you are way ahead. That was not a pretty picture you put up. I think of you and wonder what is going on there several times a day. Take care of yourself. Hope the new meds make a difference quickly.
