Re: Forum update?

It's the first roll-out of the upgrade, with some 'learn to walk' things. Reported a few things in back room including the very hard to read reply posts... darkish gray background.

Re: Forum update?

Yes, as announced last week in Website Update and Announcement of Upcoming Forum Update

I hope that this dark grey background can be changed, as I'm finding very difficult to read it sad

Re: Forum update?

Arrgh!
The dark gray background with darker text in the foreground is nearly unreadable. Use a white background for contrast or use white text in the foreground (though that would not help the contrast of the sea-green titles).

Note to esoteric17: Last week they announced the Forum would be upgraded this week.

It's less cluttered and has a pleasing light grey color/colour. wink

You mean you have not upgraded to the uber cool Opera browser? devilish

I hate the way Firefox 3.0-3.5 caches in my C partition (2-3 megs) *everytime* I fire it up. I have Firefox installed in my F partition. There are many complaints at the Firefox forums to disable "keep offline cache". All the so-called answers to disable that does not work and I think I have tried them all. Oh yeah, I'm an Opera FanBoy. laughing

Firefox is better than IE though. biggrin

Re: Forum update?

I also noticed that there is no "edit" button on my posts anymore (sorry for the additional post - I can't edit my last one). Also there is a "split to a new thread" button which, when pressed, says "you do not have enough permission". Methinks that shouldn't be there. Otherwise looks good!
