Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Hi skgiven

The thing is this whole CO2 thing isn't being carried out for the benefit of the environment. wink

btw http://www.ijis.iarc.uaf.edu/en/home/seaice_extent.htm shows bigger than Canada

.....again

More temperature series fiddling

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-11-26/worl...-office-adjusts-data.html

While the Met Office says this

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11841368

Reality gives us this

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11859868

tonight's lowest NOAA recorded temp in the UK has just bounced on Minus 12C

The NH Winter Months.... December, January and February

Now about this here CO2 causing an ever increasing spiral of Global Temperature................

Changes in the Sun and our great big hot water bottle called the Oceans just might have something to do with it. Throw in changes in Cloud cover and I think that mostly covers it

I notice that North Polar Sea Ice is back bigger than the USA again

Wrap up Warm Folks

Night

Dave

Here we go again with Dave's yearly proclamations, right on time: it's snowing in Walla Walla, therefore AGW doesn't exist. (And somehow, a graph with a month's worth of data is supposed to be meaningful). Sorry Dave, it doesn't work that way. It CAN be one of the warmest years on record, AND snow/get cold/etc.

Meanwhile, back in the real world.

Climate change scientists warn of 4C global temperature rise:

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Yep Eso and when you see the graph and it averages around 14C then it just goes to show how absurd a claimed 4C increase within this century really is

Temperature rise so far this Century so small as to be statistically insignificant

Now there's the truth

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12508...dmits-data-organised.html

Give me a year Eso and those 2700 ish NOAA weather stations around the Globe will give me a baseline through 2011 and then we will be able to see - straight from the raw data unadulterated by "Climate Scientists"

Every journey begins with a single step

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

It works btw and it's now hosted in a data centre capturing that data reliably

The backup works from home so if either should hiccup...

All RAID 1 with offsite database backup

I'm preparing all the pages ready to launch on 1/1/11. I needed to have collection up and running for the beginning of December so that I could launch with a rolling monthly average figure

You can see I haven't given this much thought wink

and here's reality in the UK

Ask anyone in the UK what they think of Man Made Global Warming today and you usually get a suitably choice reply biggrin

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

In line with Eso's Scientist's claim temperature rise of 4C by if you read the item by 2060 with a subscript of It's worse than we thought and there's another UN Shindig on at the mo

Here a prediction from a Climate Scientist from the World reknowned (for all the wrong reasons now) Hadley Climate Research Unit back in 2000

http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/snow...g-of-the-past-724017.html

Snowfall is just a thing of the past

"Children just aren't going to know what snow is," he said.

laughing

Fast forward a few years on from said Scientists predictions

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/corporate/pressoffice/2010/pr20101201.html

David Parker, at the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research in Berkshire, says ultimately, British children could have only virtual experience of snow. Via the internet, they might wonder at polar scenes - or eventually "feel" virtual cold.

LOL

Years of carefully garnered credibility thrown to the wind

The cold we can feel and unfortunately it's all too real
