But what I really popped in to say was to share this - this is an area where computer modelling at least stands a chance with some fairly constrained fluid dynamics... unlike the Global Climate and it's myriad of variables and interactions

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

In the parallel universe the world may not have been warming in the21st centry, but despite the Solar Irradiance [at top of atmosphere] being just about half now between maximum and minimum, in my universe it has been, and according many other data sources too:

"The Ice Is Rotten" the icebreaker captain wrote, and yet another study shows that the IPCC was politically pressured UNDERSTATING what's ahead of us: Arctic Ice Thinning 4 Times Faster Than Predi...unning M.I.T. Study Finds

Santa is needing a new summer AND winter residence, there being no miracle in my top hat:

Not going anywhere today... then you got time to can see what puny man can do with ever larger certainty, the non ostrich species: This is Not Cool. Heatwave 2011.

Anyone wants more sunspots? Be careful what you wish for and those in very large regions making look England puny, probably would not agree... let that copper plow be moderate.

Food for thought, but not for all!

P.S. Take those blinkers off, David Autumns... it's happening, the climate destabilization, just as predicted for decades and decades ago.

I am not the blinkered one. I can see clearly what is happening.

one of the consequences is this

The ones not going anywhere are those not rowing to the pole

http://www.rowtothepole.com

RTTP will have to change it's acronym to

DBT78.595°N

and just so yet another of my posts is not re-interpreted

That's

Drag Boat To 78.595°N
