You might want to do a diskcheck:
Open Windows Explorer,
Right click on the drive,
Properties,
Tools,
Error-Checking
Check now, Tick both boxes
Do a restart and just let it run the scan/fix (it does take some time, several hours)

It might help!

Or if you prefer command line like me...
Open DOS prompt and type
chkdsk c: /f /r
if asked question hit y
reboot.....and wait for it to finish in 45 to 60 minutes or more if you have a 1T drive.

After the latest upgrades and additions, yesterday the new total stands at 160 threads (80 physical cores) on 14 active planets and satellites. This is an improvement since last post of +36 threads (+18 cores) smile

Ensuring that all of them are in good health and crunch at their top capability is a time consuming task.

Anyway I listed in another thread my devices and names,
including HELENE (I7 930 only OC to 3.2 cooler not working so well)
I got the parts Monday, FINALLY got it running properly,
What a long week.
Rhea (Q6600) is at friends house now and they have promised
to keep crunching with it.
So 14 cores, 22 w/HT
Should go (when i get back) from 900,000 PPM to 1.5M or so...

I have two Linux devices, each with 2 cores, one with hyperthreading -- so 6 cores running WCG 24/7 (except during thunderstorms and tornadoes).

I have an ancient Windows machine that runs WCG on the rare occasions that it has to be turned on for some other purpose.

One of the Linux boxes has a GPU that crunches for a different BOINC project. I hope WCG will one day have a project that can use the GPU.

I'm aiming to add more devices gradually over time as I am able.
