Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Rain forecast beyond these type A work units is a drought for probably 2-3 weeks. Members may see the additional resend (we need to think of a good rain terminology for this). I will try to keep everyone up to date on the forecast when I know something.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

So far I have 6. I was very surprised to get these. I was just messing with a few preferences when they showed up. Felt like X-mas.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

I'd be happy to see ONE A type WU!!!! - don't know about these rumours of spates of multiple units appearing, they seem to be like buses, never around when you want one!!! - I've never had more than 2 DDDT Wu's at any time spread over my 40 cores.........just had a raft of error laden wasted downloads last week......no doubt that has scuppered any chance of getting more units for a while...any idea how long one might be 'out of favour' with the servers????

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Yeah...my Quad Core puked out a ton of HPF2 WU's as Error. Needless to say...it didn't get any. This was my Dual Core and just happened to be manually updated at the right time. I didn't even know we were getting them til I looked down and saw that first one pop up. Then a few more came along. This was definitely a first for me.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Am I right, I think I have read somewhere, that A-types are reduced to the number of cores?! One wu per core at the same time...?! Is that correct??? thinking
No, visibly not yet. sad
I have got 5 already in my quad and gb009761 got 4 in his Duo.

I've got 8 on a Mac-Mini (2 cores), 3 on a i7 (8 threads), and 3 others on 3 different 2 cores machines. So to me, it looks completely random.

Uplinger,
Best I can come up with for reissues is Mist or dew.
