Good morning everyone. David came by lastnight and got the server back up now all I have to do is reinstall WCG this evening and I'll be crunching again. Thanks Dave. Glad to help. I guess since this has 2 processors, it adds two drops to the sea? Happy crunching everyone. |

Here's some interesting stats concerning the Challenge:
Team China - Avg. Results Per Calendar Day 765.10 Ukraine - Avg. Results Per Calendar Day 521.00 International Team - Avg. Results Per Calendar Day 1,016.00 I'm not that good with math but maybe someone can figure out if we can catch them by the time the Challenge ends if the numbers stay like this. |

I di some fast calculation. Counting with 36 remaining days of the challange an the number you gave I got the following results for dec 22: Our team: 61365 + (36 * 1016) = 97 941 Ukraine team: 88801 + (36 * 521) = 107 557 China team: 102371 + (36 * 765) = 129 911 So unfortunately it seems like we have some work to do to get the Gold! Good evening, colleagues!
---------------------------------------- Unfortunately this "average" stats doesn't show current speed of the teams, but the all time average value. We are very good in average. But our current numbers are different. E.g. yesterday's results: Team China 3,270 Ukraine 3,035 The International Team 2,743 A day before Ukraine had just about 2400 results and we had same as today. If we want to reach 2nd place we need 763 results more than Ukraine every day. We'll see what we can do, but I think it's pretty tough. But whatever, it's really amazing, what we are doing here!... Crunching on the same level as a whole country team of Ukraine with 531 members.   |

Unfortunately I have started to switch to CEP2 and HFCC. My average WU number per day will diminish over the next days. I had a target of 25 years on HCC and this is now being reached hence the switch.

Hypernova, no worries - it's ok. I think we can relax now - our 3rd place we have in the pocket. 2nd place is not reachable.
----------------------------------------So I would suggest that we come back to our normal setup (finally I can try CEP2 as well :o)))))) It would be great if we would start with some new challenge. There are some interesting challenges around. JP has to decide. |
