Good morning everyone.
----------------------------------------No Leo they have not, I have now opted out of HFCC, if the programmeers can't figure out what's wrong with the program then they shpuld pull the project completely. This is a recent problem so somebody had to make some kind of change to something. What ever happened to running changes through Beta? Guess they're like my dumba$$ employere, install the change and worry about the problem when things crash. I now have to spend my night tonight logging in to all my computers and aborting any HFCC wu's that may be waiting to run. It sure would be nice if they'ld run something constructive like an Alzhiemers project. I keep running the Cancer projects even though I know they've had a cure for years. Okay I'm off my soapbox, y'all have a great day.
One drop raises the sea.

Damon, at least a good thing for you is that HFCC is soon done so there may be a new project coming soon. Maybe FLU2? Long time ago any news about that one. After Watson won the Jeopardy game IBM mentioned somthing about an upcoming malaria project in their press release.
----------------------------------------They've had a cure for cancer for years? Could be...but what makes you so certain? Btw, are all your machines that get errors running 32-bit OS? Ok, back to work, lunch is over... :( ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

Thanks JP!
----------------------------------------Great news also. Phew, I see that I finished an 11.07 hours long HFCC WU. Long time since I had any WUs of that length of runtime. It is marked as inconclusive at the moment. Will ave to see what happens when the "wingman" as some say, has finished his or her WU. ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

I don't think so Leo, as some are as slow as 266mhz and some run on Windows 2000 so I' feel confident that some are on 16 bit. But My best machines have crashed just the same. It's got to be the project and not the hardware.
----------------------------------------Yes I do feel certain there's been a cure for years. But we'll never see it. Think about it, if they said "here take this pill and you'll never have cancer or you'll be cured" what would happen to the worlds economy? How many businesses would no longer be needed, how many people out of work? I know people in the medical field that agree with me on this. We all know technology is suppressed because the world is controlled by the fat cats at the top and thier greed. If technology weren't suppressed the world would be a much better place and we'd all be flying our little hover cars like the Jetson's

Oh, ok well just stay out of hfcc for now, it is soon done :=)
----------------------------------------Yes, that is true that the world is goverened by the wrong type of people. And there are probably cures to most diseases already without them revealing it to us. Still, there are a lot of new diseases especially viral ones that mutate and many types of cancer are caused by viral infections. I think that they won't have to go out of business, but perhaps change their business model or something. For instance they could start to look at all the side effects their pills are causing. On the other hand why would they as then we would get completely disease free. But one business strategy would be to sell pills that are effective for a month or something by contract for a time period. For instance you get 1 pill with the mail each month and that pill is effective for one month, then you simply have a prenumeration for a year for instance so you get 12 pills. Basically they can save lives without crashing their economy by this manner, like mobile telephony companies :) Well well, we can only do our best - crunch, that is :) ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |
