Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Had a power event here late Friday and the two machines that got some rain were still off this am (Tuesday). Their users are on vacation. Just turned 'em back on. Should get two people out of PV jail tonight.

I dunno, but I have a feeling crunchers in Australia and elsewhere would be more than a little confused if it started snowing now...

Just what do you mean by snow? Is this another form of rain for DDDT2, such as an avalanche? It would seem that an avalanche would provide much more work than any kind of rain other than a flood, and I don't think the scientists would be able to keep up with the results being produced. Besides that, everyone that can produce more work units is on vacation until next year.

Did I miss something?

I think the OP is from an area about to see winter, so rain now becomes snow in that area. Where I live in the north east United States, we did actually have some (real) snow on Thanksgiving. OP was also probably joking too...

On a relevant note, it should be raining again pretty soon, once everyone gets their A units in. LETS GO PEOPLE!

I just finished downloading some new work units from the researchers so more rain should be on its way soon. Enjoy the rain!
